The NHS long-term plan commits to putting mental health care on level footing with physical health services.
Since it was introduced in 2015, the NHS mental health investment standard (MHIS) has met its commitment to increase local funding for mental health (excluding learning disabilities and dementia). NHS England’s mental health five-year forward view is naturally aligned to Refero’s platform of patient and clinician engagement; providing the bridge between someone in need of mental health help, and a person to talk to.
It sets objectives in three areas:
Refero’s mental health care solutions support the NHS long-term plan to bring patients and professionals together and coordinate better care.
Our objective is to give clinicians more time with people in need of their help.
Refero creates channels of communication between doctor and patient that we are all familiar with, like video calling and instant messaging, and makes them NHS applicable, safe and easy to use.
Video and telephone consultation technology
An NHS approved, more secure, more reliable Skype alternative. GPs use it to talk to patients, other care professionals, and each other.
We provide a messaging function that can also be used between patients, clinicians and practices – an NHS approved, safer alternative to consumer technology like WhatsApp.
We can create self-help sections for mental health care organisations online, where patients can access symptoms checkers and signposting towards what sort of appointment they need, before they use our booking system.
One to many
Our platform of engagement puts the citizen first. We allow real-time communications and collaboration between the right people, with the right information, at their preferred locations, which link to the systems of record. Refero is the glue which binds people together, to deliver better health and care outcomes.
